Followed by the warm up and a special guest to start the race

Start time for the Walk/Run is 10:00 AM

After the Walk/Run (starting at 10:30 am) there will be more onstage entertainment, a full free barbeque lunch, prizes and more

 Join us on Father’s Day, bring your dad or just come out to help support all the men you know.

Tot Run – 2 k Stroll – 5 k Walk – 10 k Run

The 10k run is chip timed and the results will be posted here after the event.

We have something for everyone and it is all free with your registration fee!

  • Make dad a gift (a hand-painted shirt or something else very special)
  • Face painting
  • Blue yourself in the “Blue tent”
  • A Bouncy Castle
  • Men Zone free massage
  • Clowns
  • Lots of seating for those that are just there to cheer everyone on
  • Lunch – hot barbecue lunch included for participants. Extra wristbands for lunch can be purchased at the souvenir tent
  • Prizes – hundreds of draw prizes and top collector prizes too

The Walk/Run starts at the Burnaby Lake Rowing Pavilion located off Sperling Avenue on Roberts Street.

The race course is on a trail around Burnaby Lake-one of the most beautiful walking/running trails in the Lower Mainland.

The trail consists of bark mulch, gravel, a few wooden bridges and a small portion of pavement. This is a peaceful, tranquil setting that is closed to traffic.

NOTE: Parking is limited so we encourage you to use the sky train. There will be signs leading you to the parking lots at the Burnaby Lake Sports Complex as well as to the Rowing Pavilion. A shuttle bus is available from the parking lots to the pavilion event site which is beside the Burnaby Lake Rowing Pavilion. Note: there is no parking at the actual event site but our shuttle bus runs every few minutes.


A shuttle bus will pick up near the Sperling Sky Train Station every few minutes starting at 7:30AM .  Once you exit the sky train station walk on the trail south towards the freeway.  The bus will pick you up at the end of the trail.  It will also return you to the trail near the sky train station after the event.  Watch for volunteers at the station to guide you to the bus.
